Stop telling me how resilient kids are!!

I have a real issue with people continually telling me how adaptable small children are. Most kids I know simply emote, they don't filter, they don't bottle it up they just let it all out in whatever mad crazy fashion they happen to enjoy.  My usually happy boys have been wakeful, naughty, cheeky, sad, sobbing, sick, clingy, aggressive, angry, confused and homesick.

Anyhoo, if we are talking don't bother telling me how resilient kids are, I've just lived it. 

PS - I am happy to say we are slowly getting our happy back.
