On Sunday we drove south to Walvis Bay and the salt flats where Steve had been shooting for the past few weeks to check out the flamingos. We have seen them fly by our house, strange, skinny flying sticks so it was great to see them prancing around in the water. We then had a delicious meal at Anchors, calamari that was incredible and beautiful fresh fish. I can't fault the seafood here, which is probably why the day before Swakopmund celebrated National Fish Consumption Day, what a day, what a slogan!

PS - After having a quiet (maybe not so quiet) word with my husband, we all might be lucky enough to see a few more photos of moi on the blog.
